博士，毕业于北京外国语大学高级翻译学院。2002年研究生毕业留校任教至今。2009年获瑞士日内瓦大学高级翻译学院口译教学硕士学位。2014年获得中国外语教育研究中心翻译学博士学位。一直活跃在口译教学一线，教授过汉英同传、视译和英汉交传等多种口译课型。曾多次参与全国口译水平等级考试和口译员从业资格考试的命题和评审工作。同时也一直参与口译实践工作，长期为世界卫生组织等联合国机构和国家卫生与计划生育委员会（原卫生部）等多个部委，跨国公司，驻华国际组织，使领馆提供同声传译和交替传译的口译服务。是盖茨基金会、耶鲁北京中心、世界卫生组织等多个组织和机构的签约口译员。

Dr. Wei LIN received her MA and PhD degrees in interpreting and interpreting studies from Beijing Foreign Studies University. She has also received a Master degree from the program of interpreting and translation trainers, School of Translation and Interpretation, University of Geneva. Since 2002, she has been teaching interpreting in the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation, Beijing Foreign Studies University. Also, Dr. LIN is an active practicing conference interpreter and has been a contract interpreter with many international and national organizations and institutions such as the World Health Organization and the Gates Foundation. She has published a dozen of peer-reviewed articles on interpreting teaching and a few textbooks on interpreting. She has also translated a few English non-fiction books into Chinese.
